  1. Thanks for posting this, Marie. I just read about this on another blog I follow. I checked out Bloglovin and mine was on there. I guess that’s just the world we live in. Once we post something on line, it can end up anywhere….kind of scary.

Is Bloglovin bad? I never know if it’s helpful or just another site to keep an eye on…%-/

Hi, Jackie, I really don’t know much about Bloglovin, but Cate is a reliable source. I try to be careful with listing my blog since I’ve gotten burned in the past. I haven’t signed up for Bloglovin but apparently I need to see if they have my blog listed.

I read this on Cate’s blog and another blog. I went over there and it seems as if when I click on someone’s blog it leads straight to that blog. If that’s the case, is it a problem?

You know, I haven’t had a chance to look more into it. It seemed from Cate’s post that there was more to it, like Bloglovin was actually appropriating blogs without proper credits.

It doesn’t really look like that to me, but I have to follow her instructions and check it out exactly as she did.

I took a few moments to look. I never signed up with Bloglovin, but I could access my blog through it. That makes me uneasy because I have never officially registered my blog with them. My blog posts appear out of sequence, and even when I click through to a particular post, it looks like I’m still in the Bloglovin website. This may be more of a concern for bloggers who copyrighted their blog. Still, since I had to verify myself & my blog in order for content to link to FB, etc., I don’t like it that Bloglovin can pull my RSS feed. Besides, it’s Monday and I’m grumpy 😉
