At least she had a good long life. I grew up with her movies. My mother even used to comb my hair into Shirley Temple curls.
I hit like only because I was glad for the tribute. RIP Shirley Temple, actress, public servant, wife, mother, human being.
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it very much.
Sad thing. She was one who should have never gown up for all of us
Indeed. Even though I followed her careers, whenever I hear her name, my first thought is of that little girl with the curls, dancing with Buddy Ebsen 🙂
A shining example that not all child stars end up becoming Lindsay Lohan or the Olsen twins.
Hallelujah, sister!
I was so sad to hear this. Growing up I watched her movies over and over. I still love to watch her. She certainly accomplished a lot in her 85 years.
Yes, she did. And much of that was bringing joy into people’s hearts and homes.
I confess my assumption that she has died years ago, at least until I saw the news this morning. Congratulations to her on a meaningful life!
I like the way you think 🙂
