The Astronomer’s Wife up at 50-Word Stories!

I’m very excited to share that I have a 50-word story up at fiftywordstories.com. If you’re not yet subscribed to this site, you’ll want to be. Here’s the link to my fifty-word story:

And to show there’s always some truth in fiction, here is a photo my husband took of the lunar eclipse on January 21, 2019.

  1. Whoa, what a combo–amazing fifty-worder and a crystal-clear photo of our red moon. Just as the total eclipse occurred, a nice set of clouds drifted right over the moon and stayed there. :-/

    • Oh, Phillip, that is too sad that clouds obscured the total eclipse! Thank goodness for my husband and his photography πŸ™‚ And thanks for your comment on my fifty-worder. It was fun!

    • Thanks, Jill! My husband is better at tolerating the cold than I am. He went out to a park on the edge of town and I stayed home. I did run in and out of the house periodically to check on the progress. I was happy that I had a clear view through the pine trees and good binoculars. And happy that I could run back inside and warm up … lol.
