Rapunzel, A Different Kind of Fairy Tale ~ fiction by Marie A Bailey
Not to toot my own horn, but here I am tooting! I am honored to be included in this new online literary journal, The Disappointed Housewife. Many thanks to Kevin Brennan for kick-starting my own literary career by publishing my different kind of fairy tale. I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks, Jill!
Congrats, Marie! I’m a huge fan of fairy tale revisions. I even used to teach them, so I’ve read quite a few. This is one of my favorites. Not a misstep in here. Wonderful story! I was thinking Dance Moms, Mama June, pageant moms, hahaha.
Thank you, Luanne! It was so much fun to write. I should do that more often … write … for fun π
Right?! (is that a pun?) You should! Inspire all of us!
Loved this, Marie. Such a fun twist at the end!
Iβm so glad you enjoyed it, Carrie!
After reading it, I’m tempted to sculpt an Eiffel Tower in my hair. π
