My, how time flies. In truth, I have not been steadily blogging since I registered with WordPress on April 9, 2007. I “paused” my blog for a few years (and much later for a few months), but I’m happy to be chugging away steadily at it now … despite the new Block Editor.

  1. I remember that you were one of my first readers eight years ago, and I thought, She must be a real blogging veteran. I was right!

    BTW, I’ve figured out a way to bypass the block editor … Want me to email you the secret?

    • Thanks, Kevin :) You know, I might just tough it out with the block editor. I’ve been using it for awhile (I didn’t get the memo that I had a choice). I did bypass it once and kind of freaked out over how much I had forgotten about the classic editor. So I’m stuck with it. But thanks for the offer!

    I agree with Ms Bean: pauses are a part of good blogging so don’t let any ‘pause guilt’ creep up on you!
    ps-I like the yellow swallowtail butterfly on the thistle flower on your sidebar header photo!

    • Thank you, Laura! Indeed, pausing can be a good thing to do now and then. PS: I was so lucky to get a good shot of the butterfly. I had no idea how it would turn because it was moving!
