Nicely done, Marie! And that photo…WOW! I tried to capture a few photos, but it was so cold, my hands were shaking.

Thanks, Jill! My husband is better at tolerating the cold than I am. He went out to a park on the edge of town and I stayed home. I did run in and out of the house periodically to check on the progress. I was happy that I had a clear view through the pine trees and good binoculars. And happy that I could run back inside and warm up … lol.

Whoa, what a combo–amazing fifty-worder and a crystal-clear photo of our red moon. Just as the total eclipse occurred, a nice set of clouds drifted right over the moon and stayed there.

Nice! I didn’t even venture outside to take so much as a peek at the moon because I didn’t want to be cold.

Oh, I imagine it was pretty cold where you were. Here, it was in the 40s for the most part. Cold but not too cold 😉
